The company provides a variety of products and services for homes and businesses that includes bottled water, water systems, water softeners, and service and repair. Culligan is headquartered in Rosemont, IL and has more than 7,500 employees. Culligan was acquired by BDT Capital Partners in 2021, which combined with MSD Partners to form BDT & MDS Partners in 2023.

The Role

In support of Culligan’s growth plans, the Enterprise Dealer Group is investing in its leadership team and is now seeking a new Director of Sales for CWG. The new sales leader will have accountability for managing a team of 4 Sales Managers and 30+ commission-based Household Sales Representatives based in the southeast region of the US. The role will report to the CWG Business Unit Vice President & General Manager and may be based anywhere in Florida, with the ability to travel 50%+.

Experience & Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sales and commercial leadership roles, including leading a team of sales managers; experience in the water treatment industry preferred.
• Direct sales experience in residential, in-home environments, including developing and utilizing sales methodologies, principles, practices, and techniques.
• Experience working in highly decentralized organizations, requiring collaboration between centralized functions and regional teams.
• Experience in high-growth and transformational environments, including experience with integration of acquired organizations; experience working in an investor-backed environment preferred.
• Experience building and coaching process-driven sales teams, including the ability to recruit, train, and retain top talent. Leverages KPIs to drive performance against revenue targets.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategy, with a focus on revenue growth, value proposition definition, and customer segmentation to increase revenue.
• Track record of taking an analytical and scientific approach to sales management and sales operations, including sales process, pipeline management, territory planning, and management cadence. Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
• Business acumen and financial skills, with the ability to analyze and effectively interpret financial, sales, marketing, and customer information for effective decision making.
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences.
• A high-energy, field-forward and customer-oriented leader; inspires and motivates the field team; a natural bias for action and ability to deal with ambiguity.
