The Role

The Senior Director Commercial Service will set the overall direction for the aftermarket business in North America and take responsibility for professionalizing and growing the business from its current base of ~$135M in annual revenue. The Commercial Service business is responsible for providing both service engines (20% of all Aftermarket revenue) and service parts/components (80% of all Aftermarket revenue).

This leader will be responsible for sales, sales operations, product management, pricing, marketing, go-to-market, and management and growth of the overall sales channel of 20k dealers within North America. Reporting directly to the SVP & Group President of Turf & Consumer Products and Commercial Service, this role will lead a team of four direct reports. This leader must be based in Metro Milwaukee, WI.

Experience & Requirements

•10+ years of experience in commercial leadership roles in highly engineered industrial products with complex, multi-channel product distribution model.
•Experience managing a multi-channel go-to-market strategy, including dealers and distribution channel partners.
•Experience developing sales strategies, segmenting customers & markets, and positioning products and services to capture market share and revenue growth.
•Experience utilizing an analytical and metrics-forward approach to ongoing sales management and sales operations.
•Employs a robust opportunity tracking and pursuit process to realize Aftermarket potential for managed customer base.
•Strong financial, quantitative, and analytical skills.
•Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, manage, and develop top talent; a natural mentor, consensus builder, and change agent.
•Experience in high-growth and highly transformative environments preferred.
•Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences; able to develop and present board-level materials to an executive audience.
•A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others.
