Founded in 1987, Coker Group is a specialist healthcare advisory firm and the foundational investment in THP’s Healthcare Advisory Platform. The organization provides a variety of transformation (Digital Transformation, IT implementation, Organizational Development, Operational & Financial Performance Improvement), transaction advisory (Fair Market Value, M&A, Valuation, Financial & Operational Due Diligence, Post-Merger Integration), and compliance (Provider Coding Audit, HIPAA Compliance, Cybersecurity Advisory, Regulatory Compliance, Healthcare Litigation Support) services to physician enterprises.

The Role

Trinity Hunt Partners is building its first platform in the Healthcare Advisory industry, with Coker Group as the foundational investment. THP/Coker is now seeking a Vice President of Integration who will play a critical role in the Healthcare Advisory Platform’s value creation plan, building and leading the Integration Management Office to oversee communication, planning, and execution over all integration activities for acquired businesses. The IMO will be responsible for seamlessly integrating acquired businesses in a replicable and scalable manner, while also providing bespoke service to each unique acquired business, ensuring alignment and maintaining organizational strategic objectives. The VP, Integration will build a lean team and report directly to the CEO.

Experience & Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess: (1) significant M&A integration experience, either from relevant, highly acquisitive organizations (ideally PE-backed) or management consulting; (2) experience successfully developing and leading cross-functional project and workstream-level management in service focused environments; (3) experience designing, building and implementing an integration function within a high-growth/high-change environment; and (4) a highly collaborative nature and executive presence, communications, and change management toolkit to lead effective cross-functional M&A integrations. The Head of M&A Integrations will build a small team, report into the CEO, and may be based anywhere in the U.S., with access to a major airport for frequent travel.

At least 7 years of professional experience, including broad business experience and specific ownership of M&A integration activities. Ideal candidates will have private equity experience.
• Experience building and leading enterprise-wide integration programs; experience building a systematic and repeatable integration playbook.
• Strong business acumen; able to assess financial implications of decisions and actions; able to understand how strategies and tactics work in the market.
• Track record of successfully managing multiple complex initiatives and work streams in parallel and delivering results against time sensitive deadlines.
• Displays a high level of initiative; invites, challenges, and explores new ideas while understanding and communicating the risks to the organization.
• Expert financial, quantitative, and analytical skills; able to baseline and track operational KPIs.
• Able to ‘zoom in’ to the details and ‘zoom out’ to set and understand strategy. Willing and able to “go deep” on individual projects to accelerate results.
• Naturally inclusive and collaborative across a full range of internal stakeholders/levels. Track record of breaking down silos. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead by influence.
• Able to travel regularly up to 30%.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
