The Role
To support the continued professionalization, centralization, and growth of the company, C-P Flexible Packaging seeks to hire a new Chief Financial Officer to build and develop a strong corporate financial function, establish FP&A, and support M&A and integration activities. The role will lead and optimize the existing Finance team while scaling the function for future growth. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CFO will partner closely with investors and the Board of Directors.
Experience & Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess: (1) enterprise-wide financial leadership (FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, etc.) experience in a manufacturing company of relevant size and complexity; (2) a track record of success building strategy, capability, scale, and financial success, including recruiting and retaining talent and (3) a visible, hands-on approach to leadership and change management that creates a high performing organization for current and future scale. The role reports to the CEO and is based at headquarters in York, PA.
• At least 12 years of professional experience including broad business experience and knowledge across multiple disciplines; accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, etc.
• Experience in packaging and/or CPG manufacturing. Private equity experience is preferred.
• Experience in business strategy development, communication, and management at the enterprise level, including growth strategy, go-to-market, cost-out, and M&A.
• Experience building and managing financial models and budgets for short, medium, and long-term (multi-year) projections for financial performance (sales, profit, cash, etc.).
• Experience in cost accounting at the site level in manufacturing environments. Experience leading multi-site, multi-geography teams with associated experience recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.
• Experience supporting capital investment decisions, both at the site and enterprise level, including evaluation, cost/benefit modeling, risk analysis, equipment start-up.
• Experience with pre-transaction analysis and post-transaction integration of acquisitions.
• Experience integrating finance operations of large acquisitions, multiple locations, product lines, and disparate financial systems.
• Nimble and entrepreneurial in nature; makes decisions with imperfect information; wired for a fast-paced, high-change, private-equity sponsored environment.
• A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate themselves and others; a natural bias for action.
• Able to be onsite at headquarters in York, PA and willing to travel to manufacturing facilities as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Finance, Business, or Accounting degree preferred.
• MBA and CPA preferred.
