The Role
To support the company’s increasing complexity and tp leverage operational synergies, Athletico is seeking to hire a new Vice President, Revenue Cycle to oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle function. The new leader will have oversight of day-to-day revenue cycle operations including clinic revenue operations, coding, charge capture, billing, account follow-up, denial management and collections. The VP reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will collaborate with stakeholders across Athletico’s distributed branch network. The role will lead a team of ~180 FTE’s and will ideally be based at company headquarters in Oak Brook, IL.
Experience & Requirements
• 10+ years of progressive management experience. Experience leading end-to-end revenue cycle, ideally in a rapidly growing and high-volume work environment. Experience with private equity preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare revenue systems, processes and operations including scheduling, registration, charging, billing and collections. Knowledge of significant healthcare industry initiatives which influence revenue cycle operations.
• Project management and transformation skillset, including opportunity identification and prioritization, timeline and resourcing management, financial and risk management, change management and reporting.
• Experience with process automation techniques and technology including RPA and Virtual assistants.
• Experience integrating both small- and large-scale acquisitions.
• Experience defining strategic business requirements for IT projects to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of revenue cycle processes.
• Experience establishing and driving adherence to service level agreements with internal and external customers.
• Experience identifying and partnering with external vendors to fill process/capability gaps.
• Large organizational leadership experience. Examples of using positive reinforcement, clear feedback and follow through to advance an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact in a cross-functional environment with all levels of executive management and a geographically dispersed footprint.
